    onsen experience
    limited food options

    Unexpected culinary delights await

The onsen experience was divine, especially the private ones. Our kaiseki dinners were works of art, and the calming atmosphere felt like a retreat.

Limited food options left us wanting more variety. Some staff had trouble communicating in English, making requests a bit challenging.

    private hot tub
    friendly staff

    This is what stood out

Staying here was an enchanting experience! The private hot tub on the balcony provided a calming retreat. Meals were remarkable, especially the grilled options. The welcoming staff blended seamlessly with the charming ambiance. Free snacks and ramen at night added delightful touches. If you're looking for serenity and amazing food, this place is a gem!

Beautiful area with hot springs nearby.

My stay was plagued by unhelpful staff and a confusing location. The directions to reach the hotel were incorrect, leading us to a difficult path uphill. Additionally, the language barrier made communication frustrating and stressful throughout our visit.

    A Hidden Gem in Hakone!

My stay was unforgettable! The private balcony bath offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, a true escape. Eating delicious kaiseki surrounded by serene gardens was such a treat! Be sure to arrive early for the private onsen. it fills up fast. I’d love to come back!

    open-air bath
    free snacks
    late-night ramen
    dated facilities

The private open-air bath on the balcony feels luxurious, especially with the stunning views of the surrounding trees. Complimentary late-night ramen and snacks provide a nice touch that keeps hunger at bay after a busy day exploring.

The hotel sits in a less convenient area, requiring a walk to the bus stops, which might not suit everyone, especially with larger luggage. The private onsens can become overcrowded, making it challenging to secure time in them, and the overall facilities feel a bit dated, particularly in the older building, which can detract from the experience depending on your room choice.

Had an amazing time with friends! The onsen was clean, and the snacks were a nice touch. Found the free ramen late at night a plus. We explored the beautiful gardens nearby and enjoyed the good dining options. Definitely a must-visit for groups!

Only downside was the limited English from some staff, making communication tricky at times.

    spacious room
    outdoor bath
    nice view
    no major downsides

We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room with an open-air bath, and it was spacious and lovely! The outdoor bath was a highlight, with enough room for two. The view from the balcony overlooking the trees and hills added a nice touch. The beds were comfy, and it felt super cozy, especially during a rainy day. No private bathroom confusion here, as we had our own bathroom and toilet. Overall, just a really nice and relaxing space!

    excellent relaxation
    rushed dinner
    limited options

The onsen experience here is wonderful, offering relaxation and beautiful views. Meals have a rich variety, but the dinner service felt a bit rushed and lacked some options. However, the staff's hospitality made up for a few shortcomings, and the private bathing opportunities are fantastic.
